Judgment Enforcement

A judgment is the official decision of a court. A final judgment resolves the issues involved in the lawsuit, and determines the rights and obligations (money damages are often included) of each party.  However, victory in a lawsuit does not include the actual receiving of the court awarded damages. The victorious party must enforce the courts judgment by following proper state and local procedures.
